Re: Information Evenings 2012
The school will be holding information evenings for parents of students on the following dates:
• Year 11 – Tuesday 11 September – 6.30-7.30pm
• Year 10 – Thursday 13 September – 6.30-7.30pm
• Year 9 – Thursday 20 September – 6.30-7.30pm
• Year 8 – Tuesday 25 September – 6.30-7.30pm
Available on the evening will be the curriculum/ information booklet, specific to your son/ daughter’s year, which gives details of the curriculum and guidance on how parents can help.
The evening will also cover important dates in the year; for example reports, parents evenings and subject surgeries.
For parents of students in Year 10 the evening will also enable parents to learn more about GCSEs and other vocational examinations, coursework and target setting.
Year 11 evening will also provide information on the key dates and events in your son/daughter’s final year.
The school views these evenings as very important and I very much hope that you will be able to attend.
