Reminder Regarding Uniform Code

Posted in: News Archive

Dear Parents/Carers

As half term has come to a close we have noticed that there has been a deterioration in the standard of uniform of some of our students and we would therefore like to remind you of our uniform code as stated in all our guidance documents. Please refer to the  PDF document on the uniform page of the website for examples of acceptable and unacceptable uniform items.

Please can we draw particular attention to the following items which we need to reinforce:

  • Black trousers – these must be plain black school tailored trousers. No jeans, skinny-fit trousers, leggings, trousers with zips, studs or other attachments.
  • Girls who choose to wear school skirts must wear tights underneath their skirts, NOT leggings.
  • Shoes must be plain black shoes with no coloured trim, laces or logos. Boots are not acceptable.
  • All students should have their school jumper with them in school at all times. It should not be replaced with a hoody or other non-uniform top.

We know that many of you already do, but for those few who have maybe just missed this or it has not been a main focus for you, please can you reinforce this with your child and ensure they are appropriately dressed in the correct uniform for school each morning. Thank you very much in advance of your support for this matter.

Have a great half term break.

Kind regards

Ms F Barton

Assistant Head
