Longhill creates stunning artwork with Brighton Uni Students

Posted in: News Archive

Over the first half of this summer term, a group of Longhill’s arty Year 9s, 10s and 11s participated in specialist printmaking workshops with degree students from Brighton University. Longhill students had the opportunity to work with a range of techniques not usually available in school, this included monoprinting, drypoint etching and chin colle. They worked with oil based inks and a proper roller press and produced some stunning work, examples below.

The Brighton University students were impressed by the developed nature of the work produced and what enthusiastic and good company our students were.
