Eggs Galore for Rockinghorse Appeal

Posted in: News Archive

Generous Longhill students paid a surprise visit to the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton this week to deliver a massive haul of chocolate Easter eggs to the Rockinghorse Appeal.  Staff were delighted to receive the huge consignment of 175 eggs, which they plan to give out to the children and their siblings who are in hospital over the Easter holidays.

Students held a competition to see which House and which mentor group could collect the most eggs.  “Our students have really been on-board with this idea.” said winning mentor Mr Matthews.  “Lots of our staff and students have personal experience of the Alex and the wonderful work they do.  It’s great for us to be able to give something back.”

Everyone in the Longhill community wishes all the children and staff at the Alex a very happy Easter!
