Longhill Runners in Cross Country Championships
A group of Longhill students took part in the Sussex Schools Year 7 and 8 Cross Country Championships at Christ’s Hospital School in Horsham last week. The weather conditions were perfect for running in the beautiful grounds around the school. On the start line for each race were 180 eager faces waiting for the gun. All the Longhill athletes finished their races, with Year 7 student Lois Martin being the highest placed girl in 84th place. Matt Marshall, from Year 8, ran a superb race to finish 34th.
All the students were a credit to the school and should be proud of their achievements. Well done to all of them!
