Year 10 Student Takes on Three Peaks Challenge

Posted in: News Archive

Year 10 student Freya Wilson is about to take on an amazing challenge!  Here she tells us about it: “On the 23rd June I am flying up to Scotland to climb Ben Nevis with a group of 15 people; we are then heading down to the Lake District to climb Scafell Pike and then to Wales where we finish with Mount Snowdon. The aim is to climb the 3 peaks in 24 hours.

I am doing this as a fundraising event for Hope and Aid Direct, a humanitarian aid charity that uses 100% of the money that you donate to help those most in need.  My dad is a trustee of the charity so it is something I have been involved with on the side-lines for many years.  So come on people, get the wallets out and motivate me to do this crazy thing!”

We wish Freya lots of luck with this incredible challenge and look forward to hearing all about it at the end of June.  In the meantime, if you would like to support her fantastic effort, please follow the link to her Just Giving page here: Three Peaks Challenge
