School Trip to Spain – Girona
12 specially selected Longhill students from year 9, 10 and 11 are on a huge adventure this week – they are in the beautiful city of Girona in northern Spain to attend Spanish school for a full week. Whilst staying in host families, they are attending lessons, lunchtimes and after school activities to truly appreciate the Spanish way of life, and spending the week practising their Spanish. They have taken a day trip to Barcelona, and explored the city of Girona too. Staff attending are Ms Stallard and Mr Chesters, and they are travelling with 13 students from Hove Park, accompanied by Miss Samandi, and 5 students from BACA, accompanied by Mr Harvey.
They’ve seen the city from a viewpoint and visited the sagrada familia, along with the Dali museum in Figueres, the old town and famous monuments – not to mention the walking!
