What’s Next for Year 11?

Posted in: Latest News

Along with January exams, revision sessions and preparing for the end of year exams, Year 11 students are looking forward to their next steps after Longhill. Lots of events are happening to guide students and help them figure out their futures.

Apprenticeship workshops are starting on the 7th of February to help students find out what they need to do if they want an apprenticeship after they leave and college applications and interviews are well underway. Interviews at Varndean College are happening on Monday 28th for a majority of students. Additionally, BHASVIC are sending out letters and MET are interviewing all the way through Spring.

Parents need to ensure their sons/daughters are accepting all offers made to them. If they do not accept their place once it’s offered to the students it will be withdrawn by the college. If students have lost the letter they can call the college or e-mail our careers advisor cdobbie@longhill.org.uk.

We wish our Year 11s all the best for their future plans!
