Longhill’s Mini Mile
On Wednesday 6th March, Longhill held the “Mini Mile” event, where children from local Primary Schools come to Longhill to compete in a competitive one mile race.
The event brought over 250 students from our fantastic feeder schools to Longhill High School to take part in the race on our field.
The weather was grey and gloomy, however the participants were not! The primary school runners worked incredibly hard and it was a joy to see them perform so well, with the top runners being awarded medals for their efforts.
We had over 20 leaders help to run the event who were absolutely outstanding in their roles. Overall a fantastic event!
