Letter sent to parents of Year 8 students asking for students to volunteer as guides for Open Evening

 Dear Parent/Guardian

 Re:  Year 8 Guides – Open Evening

 Your son/daughter has volunteered to be a guide during our Open Evening for Prospective Parents and Year 6 students.  This is a very important role and one that we have always asked our Year 8 students to do.  They have always done the job well in the past and I have no doubts that they will do an excellent job this year as well.  All students who help at Open Evening receive a ‘Service to the School’ credit.

 The Open Evening is next week on Wednesday 10 October.  As you are aware school is closing early and students will be dismissed at approximately 1.00pm.

 Year 8 Guides will need to be back at school by 5.30pm in full school uniform. They will have finished their guiding duties by approximately 7.45pm.  Please could you arrange for necessary transport home.

 Please could I also ask you to sign the slip below and return it to Student Services so that I know you have agreed to them taking part.
