Letter sent to all parents with information about Open Evening arrangements

Dear Parents
Re: Open Evening – Wednesday 10 October 2007
The school will be holding an Open Evening for prospective students and their parents from 6.00pm on Wednesday 10 October 2007. To enable staff to prepare for the evening, the school will close early on Wednesday 10 October 2007. At the end of Period 4 students will return to their mentors for registration at 12.45pm and then they will be dismissed at approximately 1.00pm. Lunch will be available for those students who require it.
School will restart at 9.15am on Thursday 11 October 2007 for registration with their mentors and then students will go to Period 2.
Unfortunately the normal school buses will not be available on Wednesday lunchtime, but will be available for Thursday morning, if students wish to come at the normal time.
If your child is involved in helping on the evening, permission from you will need to be written in the child’s diary. Helpers will be allowed to leave the school at 7.30 pm when the Headteacher’s final talk begins.
