Re: Triple P Programme

Understanding the needs of young people in our society today, is very different to when we were children.  Helping us understand those needs and giving us the strategies to meet our children’s needs in a rapidly changing society will be a major benefit to us all.  We are really pleased to tell you about a new programme to support parents that is coming to Longhill in February.

Triple P stands for ‘Positive Parenting Programme’.  It is an internationally recognised programme, which has been run in other areas of Brighton & Hove and has proved to be very successful with many parents.  Many of you have been asking us about this support and we are pleased to be able to inform you that it starts on Thursday 7 February at 7.00pm.  It is free to all our parents and will run every Thursday for 8 weeks from 7.00 – 9.15pm (except during half-term).  Refreshments will be provided.

It is aimed to give clear, simple strategies to turn problems around and to prevent them from happening in the first place.

If you would like to book a place on this programme, please fill in the slip below and return it to school as soon as possible.  Places are limited and it will therefore be booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
