Dear Parent/Carer

Re:  Brighton and Hove Schools’ Year 7 & 8 Athletics Championship 2008

Your child has been selected to help with the Athletics Championships this year. The Championships run on Wednesday 18 June. Your child has been told the times of their events and these should be written on the back of this letter or in their diary.

A Longhill vest will be provided which must be worn by all competitors – students should bring a white T-shirt and wear normal PE shorts, white socks and either spikes or trainers. Please remember that it can get cold and damp at Withdean in the evenings, so students should bring appropriate cold/wet weather gear.
 
We will transport all students to Withdean Stadium and back to Longhill in the school mini-buses and should return by 8.30pm at the latest. All parents and friends are very welcome to come and support the school and provide transport home from Withdean.
