Early Closure and INSET Day |

Re: Early closure and INSET Day – Thursday 23 & Friday 24 October 2008
As you may be aware from the Autumn Term Student Calendar there is an INSET day on Friday 24 October 2008.
To coincide with this, the school will also be closing early on Thursday 23 October 2008 to enable teaching staff to visit students undertaking work experience away from the school premises.
On this day students in Years 7 to 10 will be given a study afternoon where they will be expected to work at home. Students should return to their mentors for registration at 12.45 and will then be dismissed at approximately 1pm. For students in receipt of free school meals, an opportunity to purchase food will be available during the morning break. Unfortunately, school buses will not be available and students will be required to make their own way home.
