The following letter was sent to all parents of Year 7 students.

Re: Year 7 Continental Breakfast – Tuesday 21 October 2008
To celebrate the study of foreign languages at Longhill, all Year 7 students are invited to come to a Continental Breakfast in the school canteen on Tuesday 21 October. Breakfast will be served for those studying French during Period 1 and for those studying Spanish, in Period 2. Students will therefore be out of their usual lessons for either Period 1 or Period 2 depending on the language they are studying.
Students are invited to make a contribution of £1.00 towards costs, which will be collected at the door.
