Re: Notice of Consultation Meeting – Tuesday 3 March 2009 at Longhill High School

Brighton & Hove City Council is currently developing proposals to expand Longhill High School by one form of entry from September 2010. We have recently held a meeting to discuss the educational case and reasons for doing this. As part of these proposals it will be necessary to extend the school to accommodate the additional pupils. We anticipate that a planning application for these proposals will be submitted in March 2009.

We will be holding a consultation meeting on Tuesday 3 March at 7pm at Longhill High School where proposals for the extension will be explained and drawings made available to view. Please take this opportunity to visit the school, speak to the architects and make your opinions known. Your thoughts are important to us and will be considered during the design stage. We would like to receive any comments you have on the proposals by Monday 9 March.
