Re: Open Evening – Thursday 8 October 2009, 6.00pm onwards
The school will be holding an Open Evening for prospective students and their parents from 6.00pm onwards on Thursday 8 October 2009. To enable staff to prepare for the evening, the school will close early on Thursday 8 October 2009. At the end of Period 4 students will return to their mentors for registration at 12.45pm and then they will be dismissed at approximately 1.00 pm. Packed lunch will be available for those students who require it.
School will restart at 10.50 am on Friday 9 October 2009 for registration with their mentors, and then students will go to Period 3.
Unfortunately the normal school buses will not be available on Thursday lunchtime. Buses will be available for Friday morning, if students wish to come at the normal time, but school will not start until 10.50 am.
If your son/daughter is involved in helping on the evening, permission from you will need to be written in their diary. Helpers will be allowed to leave the school at 8.00 pm at the end of the evening.
If you have any difficulties with these arrangements please contact your son/daughter’s Head
of House.
