Re: Year 9 Fieldtrip to Swanage, Dorset - Monday 15 March-Friday 19 March 2010
Year 9 students are being offered the opportunity to attend a residential fieldtrip to Swanage in Dorset as part of their Geographical Studies.
Whilst the fieldtrip is not compulsory it will considerably enhance their enjoyment and understanding of Geographical skills and techniques. It is our intention to study coastal processes, tourism, conservation and management of sensitive areas and land use in Dorchester. Students attending the trip will also be offered the opportunity to take part in archery, abseiling, climbing, and other indoor and outdoor activities.
The cost of the trip is £215 to include food, accommodation, transport, educational visits, and activities. Places are limited, so if you wish for your child to attend the trip please sign the form below and return it with a non-refundable deposit of £50 to the Cashiers Office before Monday 13 October 2009.
In the event of us receiving more than 30 applications, a random draw will take place to determine which students will be in attendance. In this instance, unsuccessful applicants will receive a full refund of their initial £50 deposit.
