Re: Year 7 Pastoral Evening, Thursday 15 October 2009, 5-7.30pm
I am pleased to report that the students in Year 7 have made the transition from Primary School to Longhill with an excellent attitude towards school and their studies.
I would like to invite you to the Year 7 Pastoral Evening on Thursday 15 October. This will be an opportunity for you to meet your son/daughter’s mentor and discuss how they have settled in at Longhill. You will also be receiving their first progress report shortly which you can then discuss in more detail with their mentor.
The evening will consist of a short meeting with your child’s mentor to discuss their report and progress. There will also be an opportunity to meet the head teacher and other parents of year 7 students in the school canteen; cheese and wine will be provided.
