Opening Minds History Trip To Rottingdean |
JW/CF
2 November 2009
Dear Parent/ Carer
As part of Opening Minds work about local history we are planning a short trip to Rottingdean to visit places of historical interest.
The visit will take place during Opening Minds lessons and will also take up most of the lunch time. Students will be expected to walk to Rottingdean and back from Longhill and on the day should bring a packed lunch with them.
Students will be accompanied at all times by their Opening Minds teacher and at least one other member of staff.
The final date and time for the trip will be decided by your child’s Opening Minds teacher, but it will be some time between the 9th and 27th of November. Your child’s Opening Mind teacher will give at least 24 hours notice. If it is raining heavily, then the trip may be re-scheduled.
There is no charge for this trip, as there are no costs involved, but we do need you to complete the permission slip below and return it to your child’s Opening Minds teacher.
Yours faithfully,
Mr J Wilson (Head of Opening Minds)
