Geography Trip to Paris – Friday 27 November – Sunday 29 November 2009
Please read the following information carefully as it may affect being able to take your son/daughter on the trip.
In order to travel abroad we all need a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). The ‘old’ E111 system has changed. If your son/daughter has not go and EHIC you need to obtain one either by applying on line at www.dh.uk/travellers or by calling the EHIC Application Line 0845 606 2030. Applying on line is quick. Please state that the card is needed for a school trip on 27 November 2009. We will collect these cards before we travel and I would ask that your son/daughter brings this in to school and gives it to their Geography teacher by the 13 November 2009. There is no charge for this card.
A reminder also that your son/daughter needs their own current passport. We will not be collecting these in beforehand. On the day of departure we will collect passports in the morning.
Your son/daughter has received an information pack that includes information about the trip and a medical/consent form. Please ensure that they return this form as well.
