Re: Election of Parent Governors
I am writing to inform you that unfortunately the Governing Body did not receive any nominations from parents to stand as Parent Governors.
All Governors are fully involved in the work of committees, links with curriculum areas, interviews for staff appointments and school events. Full training for new Governors is available and the term of office for all Governors is four years. It is very important that we have a full number of members to carry out the responsibilities of school governance.
We will therefore be repeating the election process early in 2010.
If you would like further information on the responsibilities of school governors, please do not hesitate to contact me via the school.
