Dear Parents

We are now well into our new build with progress ahead of planning due to the unseasonable good weather. (Although now I have said this, I hope this continues!)

We are keeping the impact on the learning and teaching to a minimum with the main internal improvements taking place at the need of the year and during the summer break.

If we continue at this pace we will be on target for full opening of our new facilities in September 2010.

Our Year 11 students are about to take their mock examinations with the exam timetable and arrangements being finalised. This will be published with full details in the next week. If you have any questions regarding the arrangements please contact Mr Sallis or the relevant Head of Department using the email address provided on the contact pages of our website.

It seems that I am following the trend of bringing Christmas earlier into our lives but aim to encourage your attendance to our Carol Service at St. Margaret’s in Rottingdean on Monday 14 December. It is the highlight of my Christmas and an annual event I look forward to each year. If you can attend please do, in support of our young people and our community within Rottingdean and St Margaret’s, it is very special.
