Under the Data Protection Act 1998, schools have a duty to inform parents and students of the purposes for which data is held and any third parties to whom it may be forwarded. Attached is a ‘Privacy Notice’ which gives you this information. The notice contains details of the Local Authority website and DCSF website where more information can be found.
