Year 11 Prom at Stanmer House, Brighton
Thursday 8 July 2010 – 7.00pm to 11.45pm
The exciting venue we have decided upon is Stanmer House set in Stanmer Park, Brighton; a magnificent country house set in the midst of Brighton’s premier parkland. Built in 1727, Stanmer was once the ancestral home of the Pelham family and the Earls of Chichester, and this historic venue offers many of its original period features, creating a unique backdrop for the celebratory Year 11 Prom.
The all inclusive price will be £30.00 which will provide the following:
• Non-alcoholic drink on arrival
• Finger buffet (inc sandwiches, crisps, nuts etc)
• Security
• Use of the marquee and function rooms
• Disco
• Unlimited Soft Drinks (inc. Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, Lemonade, Orange juice & Apple juice)
A non-refundable deposit of £10.00 is required by Friday 12 February 2010 in order to secure your son/daughters place. Please complete and return the attached reply slip with the deposit. The full amount of £30.00 must be paid by Tuesday 30th March 2010. Payments should be handed into the Cashiers office.
***please note; Students who achieve attendance above 95% from January to the end of May will be eligible for 50% refund on the cost of their ticket!***
The Year 11 Prom is a school function and therefore the school reserves the right to prevent any student from attending should their attitude to school not be positive. Behaviour, attendance and punctuality over the next important months will also be taken into consideration.
We are hoping that as many students as possible will be able to attend the event to celebrate their time and achievements at Longhill.
