Dear Parent/Guardian and Student

Candidate Statement of Entry for this summer’s GCSE examinations.
Generic Summer Exam Timetable. This shows all exams being taken this summer.
Individual Student Timetable. This shows all the written components for each exam, the dates and the times of each written paper and how long the exam is in minutes.
These show all the entries made for your son/daughter. If you have any concerns about subject entry, tiers, personal details and even missing entries, please contact me or the subject teacher as soon as possible.
Can I remind you that all Longhill morning exams start at 9.00 am and the afternoon exams start at 1.45 pm unless otherwise stated on the timetable. Candidates are expected to assemble, in full school uniform, in the Sportshall 15 minutes before the start of an exam.
In the event of serious illness during exams, or other circumstance that may affect your son/daughter’s performance in the exam, please contact me at the earliest opportunity. The exam boards will require a doctor’s note to support any application made by the school for special consideration. I must stress that the boards are only interested in the exam period and not illness prior to this. If a student fails to attend an exam without a valid explanation you will be invoiced for the cost of the missed exam.
Results can be collected from school on Tuesday 24 August 2010 between 11.00am and 12.00noon. If you are unable to attend, they will be posted to you.
