Re: Year 10 English Literature Exam – Friday 10 June
FOR STUDENTS TAKING ENGLISH LITERATURE GCSE ONLY
ALL OTHER STUDENTS SHOULD BE IN SCHOOL AS NORMAL
I would like to draw your attention to the important Year 10 English Literature exam this Friday 10 June 2011 at 1.45pm.
As with the Year 11 students, we aim to provide students with a class experience as close to the final exam as possible.
On this occasion we will grant study leave for those students who choose to revise at home before the exam if agreed with parents. Those students taking the English Literature exam who choose to revise at home in the morning should therefore not enter school on Friday 10 June until 1.30pm. They should meet in the Sports Hall.
Students who wish to attend school as normal on Friday morning are also able to do so.
This is especially recommended if they have further exams in different subject areas in June
(eg Religious Education).
Please note that those students not taking the English Literature exam should attend school as normal on Friday.
