Paying for School Meals

We are a cashless school. We use biometric finger scanners which are linked to an online ParentPay account to pay for food. All parents/carers are provided with a ParentPay account number when your child starts at the school and payment is quick and easy to set up. If you receive free school meals, the money is added to your account ready for lunch time every day.

Paying online means that you avoid having to send in cheques, or you or your child bringing cash into school. Parentpay is a secure online payment system that can be used to pay for school trips, lunches and any other expenses that may be incurred at school.

Theme Day Menus

At Longhill High School we strive to feed our students a well-balanced diet, at an affordable price. We believe that food is also a wonderful vehicle for learning and endeavour to introduce new foods which are delicious and fun to eat. We hope you enjoy our themes and we are always welcoming new ideas for the next year.

In the past our theme days have been based on location, creator of the food, non-mainstream products or easy healthy ‘cook at home foods’. Our dishes this year are based on Character’s we have all enjoyed through the years and the inspirational quotes from them.

Ingredient’s and allergens are always available on request.
