About

Our school uniform is important to us. It is our way in which we identify ourselves as a school community and it promotes a strong, cohesive school identity which supports high standards and expectations in all areas of school life.

Shoes

Black trainers are not acceptable under our uniform policy. All footwear should be leather or leather-like material that can be polished. Please also note that boots are not acceptable (including chelsea boots or doc martin style boots). Here are some examples as a guide;

Our school uniform suppliers are Monkhouse.  You can purchase uniform either at their shop in Hove or online at www.monkhouse.com

Donations

If you would like to donate any uniform/PE kit that is no longer of any use to you, we have a collection box in reception at Longhill High School or Items can also be brought to Student Services at your own convenience. Please be aware that, as this is a new initiative, it may take a little time to build up a supply of recycled Longhill High School uniform.

Smarter Uniforms

The Smarter Uniforms marketplace will house pre-loved uniforms to be sold and shared locally keeping uniforms out of landfill and in loving homes. Here, parents and carers are encouraged to buy and sell peer-to-peer at a fraction of the price of new. Smarter Uniforms is a social enterprise set up to help communities re-use school uniform.
