A Premises Manager is now required to lead the School’s Premises Team. The team conducts the maintenance and cleaning of the school buildings and grounds on a rotating shift.
The School are looking for someone to help them to maintain a school site that we can continue to be proud of. The successful candidate will have significant building maintenance experience, ideally in a school setting. They will be able to deliver effective management of a large school site and its grounds. As well as having practical maintenance skills in areas such as basic plumbing, carpentry and electrical. They will be physically fit, flexible, organised with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have experience of managing a team and a sound knowledge of health and safety.
A basic knowledge of buildings maintenance in at least two of the following areas; plumbing, decorating, carpentry, or basic electrics are required; along with good IT skills using Gmail, Word and Excel.
This vacancy comes with on-site accommodation set in a semi-rural setting to the east of Brighton neighbouring the South Downs National Park.
